Insane festivals, huge events, and sick parties; you’ve undoubtedly had your fair share of ’em. But what are you left with when the magic of the moment has passed and the memories start to fade? What can make you feel alive again when nothing else comes close to that specific kind of madness? Simple… The world’s sickest aftermovies.

The Armin Only Intense World Tour – The Final Show
It was intense, that’s for sure. Although many would consider this to be an ‘actual’ aftermovie, we couldn’t leave out the live registration of the final ‘Armin Only Intense’ show. After all, if you want to know what to expect of the ‘Armin Only Embrace’ world tour that is to kick off tonight, watching this is the way to go. We promise it’ll be worth it.

Ultra Music Festival Miami 2014
Adorning this list with the aftermovie of Ultra Music Festival Miami 2014, we immediately spotlight one of the biggest and oldest festivals. Dance music in the U.S. pretty much started with UMF Miami and the aftermovie conveys just that. It uses a special interview setting to tell a compelling story, backed up by lovely audio and beautiful imagery. After watching this aftermovie, you definitely want to be at Ultra Music Festival Miami next time it hits.

Tomorrowland 2015
While we’re on the subject of block-buster-like story lines, here’s another one. The aftermovie of Tomorrowland 2015 features some really good on-site festival impressions, flawless editing, and short interviews with the Tomorrowland attendees to have it appeal to the masses. It might be a bit lengthy, but it’s still a great deal of fun to watch.

The Flying Dutch 2015
The Dutch clearly how to throw great parties, but The Flying Dutch was in another league entirely. The aftermovie did a really good job of capturing the essence of just that. It spotlights all of its DJs in just the right way, added some sweet over-the-head shots to up the ante with, and picked just the right music as the icing on the cake.

Axwell Λ Ingrosso Year 2015
This ‘Axwell Λ Ingrosso Year 2015’ video not just stands out because of the sheer amount of formidable shots featured in the aftermovie. Although simply summing up the most iconic moments of their year, it’s got spirit, personality, and it is actually funny to watch. The excellent choice of music puts the emphasis on these qualities and the editing is really well thought out.

Amsterdam Music Festival 2015 Highlights
As one of the absolute highlights of Amsterdam Dance Event, Amsterdam Music Festival 2015 not just spoils us with live sets from the best DJs in the world. It also lets us indulge in a kick-ass aftermovie time and time again. Although not as prominent on the story line department as the two previous aftermovies in this list, it does a killer job when it comes to giving its viewers a heads-up on what to expect of Amsterdam Music Festival next year. One hell of a party.

ULTRA Europe 2015
Yet another Ultra aftermovie managed to get featured in this list, but this one has nothing to do with Miami. A shitload of work and preparation has gone into making this aftermovie one of their best yet, made to perfectly convey the summery feel of Ultra Europe in Croatia. It puts the emphasis on “movie” in aftermovie and features next-level editing, good choice of music, and, most importantly, a sublime story line. Drafting up a complete time schedule for this aftermovie must have given someone a massive headache though.

Defqon 1 2015
Few aftermovies excel at showing just how rallied up attendees can get. This is one of ’em. Using the clearly visible emotions of the fans as the main ingredient in their concoction of spectacular crowd shots, DJs gone wild, and carnage-inducing music, the aftermovie of Defqon 1 2015 makes sure that its fans will be psyched for its next edition.

Intents Festival 2015
As the second festival on this list to feature the harder styles in Electronic Music, Intents Festival 2015 not only perfected the craft of throwing an insane party. It also excites its fans with a ravaging aftermovie every now and then. The one from 2015 has a great summery feel to it, has a cool story line, and features some lovely interviews (and ladies). As far as we’re concerned, the only thing missing is a ticket link to the festival’s next edition.

Qlimax 2015
When it comes to Qlimax 2015, it all just fits. The show itself is an absolute spectacle, filled with crazy lightshows, fireworks, and one of the most dedicated crowds we’ve ever seen. If you can capture all of that on screen, you’ll surely hit the right spot. And that’s exactly what happened with the Qlimax 2015 aftermovie.

Above & Beyond TATW 400 Beirut
It’s as if you’re looking at a documentary. That might not sound like much if you’re not too fond of that, but the aftermovie of Above & Beyond TATW 400 in Beirut is probably one of the most captivating aftermovies in this list. It doesn’t just gives you flashy images and crowd shots. Instead, it focusses on the way the show makes people feel and how it unites people from all over the world. If that’s what you aim to get out of music, you’ll have found your kind of event for sure. All thanks to this amazing aftermovie.

DGTL 2016
If we ever decide to draft up a list of the most atmospherically impeccable aftermovies, this one is a top contender. The music and visuals aren’t just separate elements here, they are one kick-ass combo. Together, they give off a certain feel that is custom-made for the festival and all that it stands for. After all, that’s what an aftermovie should always root down to.
